Hey!!!
So funny story!
There is an elder who is in this mission and before he came here his mom was reading a blog online of an elder who is currently serving in this mission…… I bet you can’t guess who.... ME!
His mom had been saying how funny it would be if he ended up with me! He didn’t but he was at a meeting I went to on Friday and so he needed a picture with me to send to his mom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SO FUNNY!!!
Although other than that this week has just been the normal everyday routine, we still don’t have anyone to teach and so all our time was spent finding this week. We actually didn’t even teach a single lesson, not even less active or recent convert lessons this week, we just mostly drove and tracted.
We did get fed a lot this week, there is this one really great member - he does a lot with us. This week he took me and an elder I was on exchange with to cracker barrel. He also took me and elder Jensen out for Chinese…. Last week he took us to longhorn steak house AND cracker barrel. Oh my gosh I need to work out.
On Friday we went to this new missionary and trainers meeting up in Manchester, that was a lot of fun and it was good to see president and all the other missionaries. They are now going to be putting chips into every mission car in the world so that adds a huge stress to driving now.
On Saturday a cool thing happened, we were out just tracting and working. We were with a member and we had to use the restroom and so we stopped at this gas station, but they didn’t have one so we went to a restaurant next door, take in mind this is like the only one for maybe 10-15 miles in any direction, and so we go in and use it and the member walks in and sits down and this girl at the counter asks some questions about us, white shirts and ties, and if we are in college or something so he goes on to explain that we are missionaries and when we come out we end up have a thirty minute talk with the people that work there and it was really cool.
But yeah not much else this week love you mum, have a good week.

Derry, NH - 6.
Hey mom!
So not much this week, it was actually a very long week of just nothing. Igot into a real rut of just feeling a little homesick so that made it really long week…but it was ok.
We had the ward trunk or treat which was fun. I enjoyed going and getting some candy!
I hate daylight savings it makes everything worse for us. My body is so used to getting up at six thirty that it has decided to wake its self up every morning without fail at six….. I am not kidding every morning!!!! and so with the time change my body still wakes up but now it’s at FIVE in the morning. Sunday I was just dying and so tired and dead and every one kept asking if I was alright and it sucked and now it gets dark here at like 5:30 instead of 6:30 and its getting worst every day!!!
It’s SO cold at nights here already – it is in the 20s and the days are in the 40s. THERE WAS snow on Sunday as well in the morning, none of it stuck but it SNOWED.

First Baptism
Elder Dean had a baptism!
However, he said that he doesn't feel right in "claiming" it as he was not part of tracking this great man out. He was only there for the last three weeks before he was baptized.
I still think it is FANTASTIC!

So this week was good. Yes i did get your package i had to pay postage for it so that wasn't good but thanks for all the stuff!
You should only send on package per transfer mum. I don’t need anything.
Things are going good, we don’t have anyone to teach right now… it’s a lot of finding and tracting, so that’s no fun. This week on Thursday we are going to be put on lock down, the whole mission will be put on lock-down, at 5 o'clock because of Halloween. We have been told that we cannot do anything. We pretty much just get to sit in the apartment for like 4 extra hours so that sucks.
Let’s see…. I’m still working out I try to do insanity as much as possible its hard but I get it done, I heard they released a new one recently. Still getting fed a lot in this area which is great!
I hit my nine month mark in like four days can you believe that? things are going good with my new companion he is really good and a way better missionary then I am, but its different because he is deaf, but he has an implant that enables him to hear so that’s really cool. In the mornings when he doesn’t have the implant in I have to wake him up since he doesn’t hear the alarm.
Things are going really good here, hope they are for you too! I love you mum. Talk to you later.
